OK now let’s turn back the page to a week ago, before Mason was born….

May 14, 2008 · 2 Comments

Lexi had the day off on May 6th and wanted to spend that Sunday night and Monday with Jean-Jean and Uncle Mackie.  Well, with a little arm twisting she convinced Crystal and I that she’d like Autumn to come over too.  So here are a few pictures of my girls.

Bedtime, Lexi reading to Autumn.

The next morning it was time to go outside and pick rose petals up off the ground.

Then off to the Mayborn Museum we went.  We had planned on going to the zoo, but it rained and rained and rained.   But we had lots of fun.

We had lots of fun in the bubble room!

Quiet Time in the Pioneer Room

And Dress Up in the Room of many countries!

Wow!  What would we do with 4 Autumns?

And this one my daughter will probably kill me for! lol  This is what Crystal’s feet looked like the day before Mason was born, she was so swollen I felt so sorry for her.  But thankful it is now over and we have a beautiful baby grandson.

Mason 1 week old

May 14, 2008 · Leave a Comment

It’s amazing what a week can do in the life of a 35 week old baby.  Every day he seems to change more and more.  And if he continues to gain, he will hopefully be home by the weekend.  I know, Mommy, Daddy and Autumn will be glad to settle down to a more normal routine.    And Jean-Jean! :)   Though seeing grandbabies every day is very special.  So thankful for them, and the joys they bring each day.

Daddy practicing on his baby skills…….!

….Aunt Valerie wanted to make sure she got into the spoiling too!  I believe, she said this made two nephews she got to work on spoiling today!  Kaden doesn’t get very much from her at all!  lol

And for some reason….I think this is one of the sweetest poses  that I’ve gotten of Mason, unless it is the first picture I posted.

Mason 3 days old

This is Mason’s first Shampoo!  Mommy couldn’t stand my dirty hair, so I had to get clean, after my IV came out of my head!

Now this is better……my bottle…….a whole 20cc’s of mommy’s milk!

And Autumn doesn’t lack for finding something to do, while Mommy is busy with baby brother!

Autumn didn’t know about Boss drinking her water for the plants….but she decided it was fun to share with Boss and Patches after all.

Mason is one day old here.  Comparing Crystal’s hand (though it is still badly swollen)  to his you can kinda tell how little he is.  But he sure has a tight grip to mommy’s hand!

May 6, 2008 It’s a boy!

Crystal & Jeff had Mason Scott Lane around 1:30 pm today.  Everything went well.  Autumn was so excited about her new brother, Mason.  She wanted to hold him!  But he had to go to NICU to be checked over.  He weighs in at 4 lbs. 5.2 oz.  And Jeff was so excited he didn’t remember the length.  So I’ll post more later and hopefully with a few pictures.  We’re excited to be grandparents again, and thankful all went well for our daughter, Crystal and Jeff.

Guess What I found among my flowers?

May 1, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I went out side and guess what I found among my flowers…….Autumn!  She enjoyed the big outdoors while she was visiting today.  In fact, I told Mackie we have a play room and she only went up there for about 5 minutes.  The rest of the time we were outside in the garden and yard.  What a fun day!
